Glad you caught that. I was going to try a different LED. I guess it's going to be a status light then for me. I can barely see the LED when it comes on as it stands right now.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure you could use a super bright LED for the indicator. Or maybe you could split the 560 resistor into 220 and 330, taking the indicator from the 220 resistor... Bajaman will correct me if I'm wrong. I will try a super bright LED, and I'm sure splitting the resistor would work, but...

Got it working today. I will install it in an enclosure as soon as I get done painting. I just wish the indicator LED was a little brighter. Other than that, nice project!!! thanks for the write up and contribution Bajaman!

Allright, well I'll just ask it here. I was wondering if an MPF102 transistor would work for this application instead of the 2SK117, until I'm ready to make a parts order.
