Re: Marshall - Supa Fuzz (196x) [gut shot picture thread]
I built a Supa Fuzz Clone with OC75 with low HFE (Q1 60 / Q2 80 / Q3 100). I put a 100k pot in there on the collector of Q2 and the 8.2k resistor on Q3. With a fresh battery I only get 6.5 V on the collector of Q3 with low voltage on Q2s collector. When I turn the pot down completely I get 8.5v on Q...

Re: Axis Fuzz Help needed!
Thanks, I try to check the soldering points and if that does not help I put new trannies in.
I recognize your from Darwin/Australia...I am german from Düsseldorf, but my best friend is Aussie from Adelaide and his brother lives in Darwin. He tells me a lot of funny things about the North-Australians.

Axis Fuzz Help needed!
Hello,
I just finished an Axis Fuzz from a Kit by Fuzz Dog in the UK. It is my 15th build.
The pedal sounds great but has very loud noise.
What are possible reasons for that? Could I damages a transistor or cap by overheating?
Thank you!

Re: Catalinbread - SFT [traced]
I built this one yesterday and am not sure that it works right cause the pedal behaves not "normal" compared to other overdrives. Only with gain maxed the pedal has a good sound. low gain settings let the overall volume drop. With low gain settings the volume has to be cranked but when I c...

Thanks for your reply. Do you still know which thread that was? And where?

Re: Shin-ei - FY-2
I built a FY2 Clone yesterday and I am not happy with the result soundwise. On General Guitar Gadgets there is a instruction sheet for a FY2 clone that suggests 6.6 Volt on the collector of Q1. On my build there is only 3.2 volt. Regarding there is only a 22k resistor in the circuit between q1 and 9...

Re: D*A*M - 1966 Italian Tone Bender
I want to build a DAM 1966 Copy but as I read this thread I got a little confused.
Which is the latest/most authentic layout I can find here?
Has anybody a good source in Europe for Germanium transistors like OC76 or AC125 perfect for a Vox Tonebender style pedal?
Thanks, Hendrik
