Thanks for the help. I solved the mystery by looking on an old hard drive I had at home. For what it's worth, the circuit is called "Slow Finger." It is by Stellan Lehrberg and is "a development of Mark Hammer's Tube Sound Fuzz Adapter." So it was down the Anderton tube sound fuz...

Yeah, that seems reasonable - but I can't find any mods with tl071 and 4049 and I copied the pcb from somewhere.

I started a pedal a few(?) years ago. Now I can't find the schematic and, after searching the internet, I can't even figure out what it is. Luckily, I covered the bottom of the pcb with liquid electrical tape stuff, so if there are identifying marks or words, I can't see them. :slap: So, if anybody ...
