theres one on reverb atm with a different schematic. unknown where it came from.. but looks pretty good. not a great resolution pic, but good enough to compare to what we have atm.

Re: Kay - Fuzztone (F-1) [schematic]
sorted my problem - used a 100k bias resistor where i should have used a 10k. damn.
still gates a little bit but no where near as much. pretty cool effect.

Re: Kay - Fuzztone (F-1) [schematic]
hey guys i just built this with 2n5088 Q1/2 and 2n3904 Q3/4 i'm getting quite a lot of gating on low volume notes. sounds great then when the note rings out it gates to silence really quickly. im thinking its trannies not biased properly. do other people have this problem? if not, can you let me kno...

i'd been keen to pull the waveform (fuzz) and subharmonic circuits out to make an awesome dirt box
might have a look at this soon. anyone else have a similar idea?

Re: DirtBag Delay ~ Deluxe Memory Man [documentation]
it could be a shielding issue try and run a ground wire to the delay-pot's chassis (even without soldering it), and check for the whistle: if it's not present anymore then the problem will disappear when you box the effect up yeah ive done all that- used a ground probe all over the pots & switc...

Re: DirtBag Delay ~ Deluxe Memory Man [documentation]
i've built mine as well, but i have a whistle issue: i have the echo and the sound quality is good, but when i turn the delay pot beyond the half the whistle appears and gets deeper if i keep on turning the knob. i've also noticed that the delay time changes a little if i turn the depth knob, and t...

Re: Important: boutique sections closed... DMCA kicks in.
hey modman super job you're doing dude. some hosts are willing to go into bat for you, some aren't. you just need to find one that is. i recommend (as i have in the past) that no-one posts "artwork" that is not theirs (read: redraw the schem / dont post pics of legit pcb's), and also that ...

[REQ] Matchless Nighthawk Schematic
hey guys
does anyone have a copy of the matchless nighthawk schematic?
im guessing its the ef86 channel from the dc30, or may be closer to the original vox ac15??
interested in modding my ac15 clone with the nighthawk mods.
cheers 2042

Re: Roger Mayer - Voodoo 1
hey mictester Actually, no. At least, not significantly in a well-designed valve amplifier. The input impedance of a valve amplifier will be in the hundreds of thousands of ohms, so won't have any significant effect on loading the guitar pickups. heres a good article edited by craig anderton on how ...

Re: D*A*M - Red Rooster
so heres the schematic the way people presume it is now.. i don't see why the 1m pull down resistor is hanging off the 10k pot instead of coming before the 5nf cap. i put it through spice and it doesnt seem to make any difference - whether it makes any real world difference is another question.. im ...

Re: D*A*M - Red Rooster
yeah i can see solder through the holes from the top side also - the thing is, there is solder over quite a few holes where there neednt be - looks like sloppy solder work (which makes reversing it harder), and if it were me i would jumper them properly or design a vero that didnt require jumpers an...

Re: Myths, Legends and the Mojo of the Dallas Rangemaster
yeah i didnt bother trying to reverse engineer the pics on that ebay auction. i was hoping someone had already done all the hard work and documented the history of the rangemaster versions with proper schematics. obviously that is not a factory schematic, but it could have been an accurate drawing o...

Dallas Rangemaster - original schems +mods
hey guys was thinking about making a rangemaster clone. was thinking of an npn version with an oc144. im trying to track down original versions of the schem as there seem to be a few floating around. i saw this one on ebay https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270410054650&ssPa...
