Re: "Superfly" - submini tube version of Doug H's Firefly
How would I go about modifying the output section to make this work with with a single ended transformer? I only have a hammond 1750a.this is what I have built so far.
I just wired 1 & 8 together on tube 6111 for now. I got sound but not loud.Thanks.- 18 Sep 2015, 00:58

Re: Catalinbread - RAH [traced]
I just built this version Rah.gif . Can I just replace R12 with a 2.2 resistor to get more gain and keep my 500k gain pot to control how much gain I want. 2.2K? Increasing R12 will decrease the amount of treble boost in that stage, making it a little darker with less overall gain. So do you or anyb...

Re: Catalinbread - RAH [traced]
I posted this above, but does anyone know what to change to get more volume out of the pedal when the gain is below 12 o'clock? Reduce R14, 15? In addition, do other people find the bass control has an overly exaggerated bass sweep, from telephone like to way too much oomph? I can only find one swe...

Re: Catalinbread - RAH [traced]
I've been messing about with this on the breadboard a bit today ahead of building one, and I ended up changing the gain control. I liked it best with the gain almost maxed, so I got rid of the existing gain pot, the 47p treble bleed and 47n coupling cap, and just wired the 100n (C7 on the schem) di...

Re: Lovepedal - Purple Plexi 800 [goop-alarm] [traced]
Just built this pedal it sounds pretty good. One problem I have is after I play my guitar for a little while then stop the pedal will make some weird crackle sound like when you remove your guitar cord before shutting down your amp. All my cords are new. I re-soldered everything and I re-checked all...

Re: toneblaster mk II
No I did not I have to get some. Now I have no sound. It pops when I try to turn up vr2. So I got no clue anymore. I tripled checked everything. Is there some way to test the board to see where the problem is like with a multimeter. I copied ever thing from the verifed mkiii to the tee.

Re: toneblaster mk II
the higher the collector voltages, the louder it should get. try 6-7 volts on q1 would you happen to have the schematic for the toneblaster mkiii . I believe my problem is that I am using the toneblaster mk 2.5 design by you drawn by kodiakkluub ver 4. my tr1 is in the wrong spot. I don't have vero...

Re: re-worked tonebender hybrid
I got the right parts. When I turn the tone knob down is it normal to lose so much volume? I am gonna have a look at the toneblaster. Is there gonna be much of a different between this one and the toneblaster? thanks
