Re: Bogner La Grange [traced]
If you try the LT1054 - DO NOT connect pin 1.

Re: Bogner La Grange [traced]
I would connect Pin 8 on both for sure. These won't function without it connected. The Variac switch is for 9V / 18V operation - without the pin 8, this switch will have no effect. The ICs as a pair also provide a 0V negative reference to the opamp IC in circuit. If you have one, an LT1054 IC may be...

Re: Bogner La Grange [traced]
Can you attach a picture of the 7660D so we can see how these pins are folded? I have never seen a "D" before and can't find a data sheet on it. Depending on the IC model, pins 1 and 8 are either connected or not. Pin 8 is the V+ input and Pin 5 is the Vout. If pin 8 does not receive a con...

Re: Vox - SATCHURATOR pedal [schematic]
I saw somewhere that changing the C3 cap to a lower value will aid in getting better mids. The original is 47n and the mod is 39n (or lower).
Also an overall volume mod is out there using an opamp between the tone and Volume pots.

Re: Catalinbread - Formula No. 55 [traced]
I noted a difference in the Schematic from PedalPCB and the one here (and AionFX too). C6 is noted as 2u2 but the same cap (C11) in the PedalPCB schematic is 1u. Is this something that matters or did the pedal trace that Bugg did differ (ie the production pedals had differences).

Re: McGregor - CrunchPlus
I spent some time playing the pedal today and found the tone control to have a very limited range. In checking the schematic I note the Tone pot (B10K) has a 10K resistor across the lugs that effective reduced it 5K.

Re: BAJA 5E3 Deluxe amplifier overdrive 9v pedal 230218 [documentation]
I also had an enclosure UV print design for this and had it done at Tayda - they somehow printed white when the file clearly had black in the color layer... oh well.... submitted a ticket [Update: my bad... I did not select that the white was in the color layer... it will be a demo pedal... LOL] Her...

Re: Rockman X100 - Make it a DIY Pedal
Here is a Schematic of the ACTUAL preamp an distortion section. The values we changed are good. Just the layout is different and makes both the clean schematic I posted wrong and the distortion schematic OP drew wrong. Can you post a corrected schematic? I am unable to see the image you just posted...

The component values based on markings/color bands check out per the schematic. Now to do an audio probe test.

Re: BAJA 5E3 Deluxe amplifier overdrive 9v pedal 230218 [documentation]
I have triple checked the layout to the schematic and used the trace tool in the program (Sprint) to ensure the connections were all the way through. I have checked for shorts or solder issues... none found, I also clean my boards after soldering. I have time this weekend to double check the compone...

Re: BAJA 5E3 Deluxe amplifier overdrive 9v pedal 230218 [documentation]
I made the PCB as I did above.... the output volume is WAY low - like 10% of unity. I will need to signal trace with the circuit to see what is causing that. I will also triple check my component values since it not without possiblity that something was not the right value.

Maybe its a matter of taste but would the gain and volume pots be better if audio taper?

Re: Function f(x) Clusterfuzz [traced]
10R put from V+ to ground is a no-no, dude. Otherwise you need to rename your brand to "funny smoke effects". I was obviously D.U.I. ( D esigning U nder the I nfluence) on that last revision. I have put it right for both versions. I would also include the reverse polarity protection diode...

Here is a variation with the selector switch connections on the bottom which can be perhaps easier to read the labeling

Re: Function f(x) Clusterfuzz [traced]
There is a 10R resistor off the power supply - what function does this serve?
Also, is the schematic correct with the 2N7000/1N4001 (per chuck's comment) just doing up a layout for a 125B enclosure and want to be sure.
