Re: JHS/EHX Lizard Queen
Could anyone please post a perfboard layout of this pedal? Would appreciate it a lot! Re: Caroline - Wave Cannon [traced]
My guess is the IC is a TL071 or something similar. There's no compensator cap like there'd need to be with a 308.

Re: Nordland ODR-C Custom Overdrive [traced]
My Andromeda is a staple/favorite OD for me (paired with a Timmy clone for a nice range of OD possibilities). But it looks like I'm going to have to take a stab at this, too. Dammit, Kevin! :) You jest, but I did have someone reply to the launch announcement email who was angry that I would have th...

Re: Bearfoot Silver Bee Overdrive
I came across Effects Layouts' Silver Fox which says it's based on the Silver Bee. I can't find any other reference to a trace of this pedal here or on any of the other forums, so maybe storyboardist could provide some insight\ on where it came from? A friend of mine traced it and passed it along t...

Yeah that surprised me too. @deltafred's explanation makes sense though.

Re: Terminal Fuzz Rev 1 - 2013 Guts EQ-D
Awesome. Can you tell what middle lug of the Voice pot is connected to? It's definitely a modded Shin Ei Companion Fuzz, btw. Mods being a pre-gain control (Fuzz pot), the Voice pot tweaking the tone stack, and an added gain recovery stage.

Re: Terminal Fuzz Rev 1 - 2013 Guts EQ-D
Nice work! Can you take another shot of the top at an angle where the resistor to the right of the 104 cap just below the Voice pot, and the resistor to the left of Q3? And can you tell if there's a trace going from lug 2 of the Level pot to the lower 10uF cap? Thanks!

Oh thanks. Must have been a copy/paste when i drew up the schematic. It should be 47n.Ichabod_Crane wrote:Do your C10 really is a 6.8nF? Not a 47nF like the original schematic?

Re: Keeley - Fuzz Bender [traced]
Awesome job! I would be interested in a PCB if you've got extra. If I may add a minor nitpick about your schematic...it's not wrong, but it's going to continue to confuse people (as above) if we label the 4.5V divider as things like "Vb", which conventionally (in my experience) marks the ...

Re: Keeley - Fuzz Bender [traced]
I went ahead and built one. Sounds pretty close to the demos I've heard online. Used TL072s for the gyrators cuz my bench is a disorganized mess and couldn't find my 4558 stash (or I'm just out). Germanium is a Russian MP38a at around 100 hfe. For Q1-2 I tried both 2N5088s and 2N5550s. Both worked f...

Re: Earthquaker Devices - Arrows [traced]
You're really close. I traced this about a year ago, and the value off the resistor off the emitter in your schem is way too high. Should be 1.3k. And the 100k at the output goes to ground. If anyone needs a PCB I still have a few. Schem attached. http://effectslayouts.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07...

Here's my layout for this. Turned the JFETs the "normal" way (mostly for my own OCD) and moved the polarity protection diode to voltage to ground configuration to save a row. https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-15lZU31CH8Y/W-m4jag97oI/AAAAAAAAGVY/8pF4bVQiVocXm_xe2hLGFQEcO9db9LTBgCK4BGAYYCw/s640/Bea...

Never seen the source and drain reversed in a JFET design like this... In the pics it looks like the legs might be twisted around. Re: Wampler Pantheon [traced]
Here's the whole schematic redrawn with what we know so far. I'd bet C11 is 470p and C13 is 330p, as everything after the presence pot up to C15 is a Baxandall tone stack with a fixed treble control. I also added a guess at the power section.
