Re: Bazzrite
Almost identical. I'd not seen that before, but I recognise user earthscum from DIYSB, seen to recall he posted a number of cool but fairly simple designs. I wonder if the higher collector-resistor and mix pot values might help reduce the volume dip in the middle? I played with the design recently ...

LF7 schematic is here: http://sites.google.com/site/electrocon ... schematics
FWIW, you can try different transistors, clipping diodes and input/output caps on the Lofo.

I finally got my Black Toast built. Thanks for sharing with us bajaman!
I found I had to go even lower than 3.3k for the drain resistor on the booster section. A trim pot is a good idea here as mentioned.
I've only finished it a few hours ago, but like what I hear on both guitar and bass.

Re: Lovetone - Meatball [traced]
In regards to jazzercountry and others that want to use toggles instead of rotaries. It seems you can use an on/off/on SPDT for SW1, the bandwidth switch.
I'm wondering if you can use a 3PDT toggle for SW2, the sweep control. Can anyone verify if it will work? It seems it would work. Thanks!

Re: Beavis ring modulator
I just built the Thing Modulator on breadboard today. The 100k resistor/100uf cap combo seemed to work fine. Very little background noise when bypassed. I used an LM C 567. Have you seen this?: http://experimentalistsanonymous.com/board/index.php?topic=1809.0 Another thing you could try is grounding...

If you're going to Triode, drive a little further north to the Jefferson Park area and stop into American Science and Surplus. They mostly have odds and ends, some pots, switches and resistors. However, I dare you to have a bad time at that store.

Got a PM on the Rebote board, but the others are still available. I can't trade for another PCB right now. Re: Chinese ebay purchases, post your good or bad sellers
Bought a set of 160 ultra bright LEDs from seller advancedelectronics. They arrived at my door, in the US, in about 10 days. The listing advertised UV LEDs as a part the set. When they arrived, the bag they're in was marked "purple". I thought there was a difference. So I tested them on so...
