Re: Fred Briggs - Dual Band Vibrato [documentation]

This sounds like a great idea but the concern I have is with the frequency response of a PT2399... I'm not sure if it will pass signal down to DC? I could be totally wrong but it's worth a try.

Re: EHX - Stereo Memory Man Echo/Chorus - Reissue (analog)

Hey CJ,
I have one of these for repairs/mods at the moment and can't find a schematic. Care to share your source for buying the reissue schematic?

Thanks - Lach

Re: Elite Tone Fillmore Thunder

It's looking like a SI Fuzz Face and a variation of a green ringer as the octave component with Bat 41 diodes. I'm speculating that the fuzz face is similar to the fulltone '69 pedal but with BC108's instead of Ge PNP transistors with a 2KB fuzz pot for greater gain and taper.

Re: WAY HUGE AQUA PUSS MK II

I watched a video from Namm taken by premier guitar yesterday. They interviewed Jeorge and he mentioned that the circuitry was the same as the original Aquapuss but utilised 'the low voltage BBD, 3205'. I presume (as per the other WH/Dunlop stomps) that the 2nd PCB houses the relay bypass circuitry....

Re: Zvex - SHO (Super Hard On) [traced]

As for the new SHO's having three transistors... I'm going to take a guess and say that the other two transistors (other than the BS170) are a 2N3904 (which can be seen in the photo) and 2N3906 are used as reverse polarity protection. The circuit for a low voltage drop, reverse polarity protector ci...

Re: Clearcoating enclosures

Acyrilics take that little bit longer to dry/harden than enamels in my experience. The flash (light) coats are definately the way to go. If it's sunny where you are pop the enclosure outside to dry/harden for a couple of days post the final coat of paint. Once I'm happy with the thickness of clear c...
