I bought a set from sunpec. they were just fine, albeit with the thin leads, and a few weird useless values.
However, the sudden uptick in the amount of Rolex / Viagra spam appearing in my inbox was less than fine.... your mileage may vary.

You have tempted the stompbox gods by boxing the effect up without the requisite number of curse words. Unbox it and burn at least one carbon comp resistor on the mojo altar. It should work then. A quick question on the Russian 322.... it is one that has the pinout with the 4th ground leg. I can't quite tell from the dark photo, but it looks like there may be some solder bridges between rows 2 & 3 and rows 3 & 4.
