Re: Danelectro PB & J mods anyone?

Does anyone know if it is possible to perform the "gambit mod" on the new ATmega48 version of this pedal? I was prodding around at shorting some resistors but couldn't find this result yet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNHh_yVZyAE I, too, would love to know if the gambit mod is possibl...

Re: 4 wire connector

Anyone have a recommendation for a 4 wire connector set used to link a footswitch pcb to the main pcb? Typically I have seen one mounted on the main pcb & the other used on 4 wires coming from the footswitch pcb. Part numbers & vendor would be appreciated. Maybe these? http://www.taydaelect...

Re: Groble (Green Ringer Octave Blend)

Is Q2 a 5088, or will any small signal PNP BJT work? According to the schematic I have from Tim, it's a 2N3906. That's what I have in my two builds. The info below was also included on the original schematic. For best octave effect: R8, R11, R14 and R15 - Match to indicated value. D4 & D5 - Mat...

Did anyone ever end up creating a vero layout or PCB for this one? I can't seem to find a layout, specifically the FZ-2 (not the FZ-3, which is IMO very different-sounding).

Re: Boss FZ-2 too splatty? [SOLVED]

Okay, looks like Q12 was bad, breaking down under load. Replaced it and signals look a lot better with higher output. have to wait until I get home to try it, but it looks like that was it. Awesome! This is one of those pedals I wish hadn't "disappeared" from my possession. One day I hope...

Re: Echopathetic: the worst, but so simple, analog delay aro

Happy you like it mate, thank you for giving it a go. I am slowly working on a refined version. Do you use the true bypass layout, or the original not true bypass? The not true bypass version pops a little for the first couple of stomps; I had no probs for the true bypass version, but I use a split...

Re: Echopathetic: the worst, but so simple, analog delay aro

Very proud of this shitty thing... gives around 170 msec of delay (you have to use the "less time" trimmer to set a max time delay without bbd whining) with repeats and even self oscillation  Only problem is it's quite hissy.... put a tonebender in front of it to cure the problem 8...

Awesome! Yeah, it's really worth a build for anyone who likes octave circuits. Cuts through in a mix really well.

Groble (Green Ringer Octave Blend)

Has anyone seen and/or built this? I have built a few of them and it's a really useful circuit IMO.

Re: Catalinbread Pareidolia Harmonic Mesmerizer [traced]

FWIW, I purchased a xr2206 chip from a USA seller on eBay (for way too much money). It could very well be just coincidental, but this circuit sounds waaaaaaay better with the pricey xr2206 chip when compared with the three I purchased from tayda.
