I did a PCB for this, it's been in the to-be-tested queue for a while now though. https://github.com/rockola/leo-fuzz-box https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rockola/leo-fuzz-box/master/images/leo-fuzz-box-v0.3-front.png https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rockola/leo-fuzz-box/master/images/leo-fuzz-box...

Got distracted  so no, the PCB is not verified yet. Thanks for the reminder, I really should dig up the board and finish it.

No shame, we've all been there (and may well be again)... Congrats on a successful bug hunt!

I did a PCB for this, have been too busy to do a verification build though. Gotcha. Already ordered some boards but that's easy enough to fix off-board. Like this then?

IOW, before the Fuzz/Normal switch? It's in series with the wiper when the switch is in the Fuzz position, isn't it?

Re: Schematic for weird vintage homemade fuzz box found on eBay.

I redrew the schematic (with C2 that was missing) and added modern accoutrements (LED, power protection/filtering, true bypass). Also laid out the board, which can be built in the original configuration (but if you're looking for historical accuracy you're probably going to want to etch your own PCB...

Their main power supply puts out 9.6V : https://shop.ehx.com/item/eu9.6dc-200/guitar-effects-pedals-power-supplies-europe/ (there are others 9.0V, but with a minijack connector for older BigMuffs) Maybe this is a way to "encourage" customers to buy their power supplies instead of a generi...

The video is also illuminating. I've never cracked open a 3PDT, I had no idea some (all?) of them are that flimsy.

Alright, now we're talking. What software are you working with? I've been meaning to switch to KiCad myself and it looks like there are plenty of learning resources. Here's a KiCAD learning resource for you: I redrew the schematic in KiCAD, you can download it from https://github.com/rockola/slo-ov...

Approaching everything as a skeptic is a good example of a common bias we can all succumb to. Nothing to do with bias. Lack of bias is not a bias, just as atheism is not a religion. Approaching everything as a skeptic, as you put it, is what science is at its very heart. If a physical phenomenon ca...

Re: Triton Delay - Adding the "Glide" from EchoCzar to PT239 [documentation]

Unless someone spots a glaring error, I'll bite the bullet and put an order through Oshpark. I'm a big fan of OshPark, but have you ordered through JLC PCB? The quality is quite good and it's insanely cheap (even with expedited shipping it's cheaper than OshPark). Good call. I ordered PCBs of m-kre...

With that in mind, how would you like to be credited? Your schem just says "@function_fx"... You can use "culturejam / @funciton_fx" if you like. Will do, cheers. R17 / R18 + D1 / D2 are only there as indicators to show witch Time pot is active. You don't need them at all if you...

Sounds like a hot ticket. I'm currently trying to learn how to use KiCAD and redrew the schematic for practice. See attachment, hope I didn't make too many errors. Going to try making a PCB layout next. If it's OK with you I'll put the KiCAD files on Github. When I started looking into KiCAD I notic...
