Hi all,
Just seeing if there is a schematic floating around for a Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter tremolo? The pedal powers up fine, just no signal when the effect is engaged, although I can very faintly hear the tremolo effect when the rate is cranked.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Lovepedal - Kalamazoo [traced]
From memory when I looked at it, it was a Eternity circuit (stripped back TS) with that added 'glass" control. Search for the eternity pedal on this forum for similarities.

Re: Rocket Pedals - Animal Overdrive [guts] [traced]
The compared PCBs of the "Blue Note" and the "Animal" are very similar in parts. The voltage splitter resistors have changed from 470 kOhms to 330 kOhms. The 1.2 kOhm resistor next to the bottom left corner of the PCB have changed to 470 Ohms. The capacitors in the upper part of...

Re: Rocket Pedals - Animal Overdrive [guts] [traced]
I have an animal that I recently picked up quite cheap. I'm not a fan of the TS circuit but gotta say this circuit variation sounds fantastic.

Re: Lovepedal - Kalamazoo [traced]
just made the mods to my Ivlark layout build and the pedal got brighter. I am not sure if that was in a good way.. it has a harsh tone to it that it didn't have before. Are you sure you didn't get C3 and C4 reversed? Thanks for the update ! A Just checked again. Yes you are correct. C3 220n C4 150n...

Re: Lovepedal - Kalamazoo [traced]
The pedal shouldn't sound harsh at all.
I'm fairly sure c3 and c4 are correct but I can check again. Maybe swap values and tell us the difference.
I haven't checked the rest of the schematic to verify the other values are correct.
I was just filling in the blanks.

A bit late to the party, but I have a mate's pedal on loan.
A few corrections/ fill in the blanks to the schematic posted:

C3 150n
C4 220n
C5 10uf
Cheers

switching effect b/w line and effects loop?
Hi there, I'm tinkering with an idea for a effect/preamp circuit and a true bypass effects loop. There would be three switches: 1. to turn the preamp on/off 2. to switch the looper on/off 3. to route the preamp to be in line (i.e. after the input jack so preamp is the signal path whether looper is o...

Lovepedal - Pickle Vibe
Hi all, I'm rehousing a mate's lovepedal pickle vibe into a larger enclosure because he wants to use a 9v battery instead of an adaptor. Fair enough and seems straightforward. Rewired the output jack, added 9v adaptor and that's fine. The issue I'm having is wiring the input jack from the board. I r...

Re: Baja Trembulator schematic, board layout and circuit boa [documentation]
Just finished building this using madbean's double flush pcb and i must say it sounds fantastic. thanks baja! I compared it to a empress tremolo, and whilst the empress has more features, the baja has more punch and depth. to me the baja sounds much closer to a fender style tremolo which is what I w...

Re: Analogguru - SDD-preamp [documentation]
Just built one based on dirk's layout. I couldn't get it working- will have to debug when I get a chance.
So Dirk's layout is verified as working?

Re: Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive [gutshots] + schematic [traced]
I found the voice control too doesn't do much the first half of the pot rotation. I find it controls the amount of gain as well. It did seem to take away some of the tonal color of the stock circuit.

Re: Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive [gutshots] + schematic [traced]
Built this and it sounds great! I did some of Briggs suggested mods: - upped the gain R11 to 2k -Changed focus knob to 100kb and this gave it nice additional high end bite - played with different opamps since I didn't have the required op275: - TL072- fuzzy, horrible - AVOID - TLC2262 - more midrang...

Re: JJS designed Submini Amp
Thanks Wilco! The video was a get together with some guitar mates and they had a good play though. they were impressed. Yeah it has alot of gain. The first part with the les paul jr sounded sound ballsy and marshally in person as opposed to what was captured on camera. 8) Definitely want more headro...

Re: JJS designed Submini Amp
Finished - did a refin.
sounds good. Should note you need to fiddle with in internal wiring placement as it's susceptible to noise.
I'll do some clips shortly.

Re: JJS designed Submini Amp
Sorry Wilco didn't mean to sound critical. In fact appreciative for all the help you've provided.
I actually got it all working now. It was a microphonic tube in the end.
It sounds pretty good - alittle too edgey with the strat so may lower or remove c12

Thanks I'll suss it out.
Looking at Wilco's gutshot on the 1st page, it does look like he had the secondary and common OT wired around the wrong way on the PCB?
