I'm not sure about the schem, I only used parts of it to confirm my layout. Re: My layout ... most of the top-right quarter of the layout could be shrunk down and the switch moved OB. I just like to make a clone a clone, if you know what I mean? :D Interesting point ... when does a clone become simp...

They appear to be jumpers/shunts ... they sit across 2 pins ... like on the back of a hard-drive.

The jacks will ground well enough on the inside of the enclosure, so just remove paint from there if you managed to somehow get loads of paint inside ... any paint in the actual hole and under the washer/nut should be no problem at all.
