Not the same, look at the transformer specs. I'm sure there are other differences too.

Buffered output treble booster? Waiting for @Lani to do a layout so i can mail him some of these audio transformers i just picked up. These have pri/sec 85 ohm/96ohm and 116ohm/116ohm so they might work as its a emitter follower, low impedance driving it. Ran a sweep and they are pretty flat, smalle...

I think that's really cool. A video of it weaving would be nice to see. Are you also taking any orders?

GBC95 shell i picked up with just a pot will work fine for this. Wondering if you get at least unity gain or tone suck, going to build it.

2N404 may be too good of a transistor. You need some leakage from c-b.

Re: NOS transistor scam on eBay

I don't see it as a scam. I don't see them as fake either. Just NOS. He does not say they are tested, what they can be used for, or much of anything. The bidders are the problem. He may have come across a few thousand and sorted them himself, who knows. AC128 was a junk garbage transistor way back t...

Pretty sure my MK328 gives me close to the same readings as my Peak Atlas. That includes the proper germanium leakage reading.

Re: FS: NEW old stock Original (CTS) MXR pots 1975 - 83 in UK will ship

Are these actual MXR stock, they look like TV parts, some are lug, some are pins. Some are marked mxr so they may be original but the others?

Check your input jack to ground connection. Make sure there is a 1 meg resistor from input/grid to ground. You can't really measure grid voltage if it's floating.

Not being picky but. Volume-Pot : CTS(#1346802) = Feb 1968 Wouldn't that be 2nd week in 1968 which would be January? 94047 is the silicon version as shown in the picture above. Kind of a weird package with top leads sheared off. Going to dig thru some boxes and see if i have any like that. 94047 is ...

Probably was repaired sometime in the past. The RCA SK3004 is a cross to the factory transistor (and hundreds of others). I have some here, they are really crappy transistor leakage wise.

Re: Groupbuilder.com tried to buy freestompboxes.org

Aguitarforum.com got sold to some MOMO group and screwed us over. A lot of content was lost but happily aguitarforum.net was bought and we moved most members over. They only want it for profit. Our messages sent through the forum were opened and any email links were harvested. I think even the tool ...
