Blocked. I really don't care for someone whom dissects your posts and misquotes you. I tried to answer the original question and i hope he gets it working properly.

Re: Fuzz pedal output signal effected by placement on pedal board

Fuzz should be your first pedal. If he doesn't like that, maybe he should be using something else. Fuzz after a buffer defeats the cleanup using your volume control. It does sound like a ground problem. You need to check the jacks for a ground connection.

What make is the pot? A lot of times you can swap in a new wafer. CTS? CENTRALAB?

Those are not painted. That is the filler/sealer color, which varies. T.I and RCA are usually totally different looking.

Re: TI 650859-1 & 650859-3 transistor identification

Probably not going to find specs on these. You would have to measure them. But that being said, if they are PNP, good to use in fuzz circuits of that era, which is 1963 on the date code.

Pots are date coded 1991. Those NKT275, 1 may be a original. Print looks different between them. As to the pots, 1 may be a input control.

Re: Early BOSS pedals didn't latch the LED (schematic)

Search for the early OD-1 schematic and you'll see the same thing. Just read it on here or the other website a few days ago so it has been known for some time. Not many of the those pedals are around so not a common thing to see a pedal made like that.

Re: Biasing Q1 in a Fuzz Face... who does it and is it worth it?

"Note that Q1 is biased via Q2, so everything that changes Q2 bias also changes Q1. " Slightly. Actually if you put a pot on Q1 collector, you adjust that to get your 4.5 on Q2 collector. If you do it the typical way, which i don't care for, people put a pot on Q2 collector and adjust that...

Re: Roger Mayer Classic Fuzz - current version

Russian transistor pinout check? What is the collector voltage you keep talking about? There's no way they could be the same unless they are not drawing current, (open emitter to gnd).

Q2 10K +10K or Q2 10K and output taken directly from C.

If you can find a old vtvm for parts, they usually have a small transformer operating the dual triode in there.

Re: Question on DIY pickup winding. Single String/One Magnet.

There a pickup forum on here and here. As was said, try to fit as much as possible in the space you have. 43awg would help but use what you have. They also make .187 magnets(typical fender single coil size). A google search on hexaphonic guitar pickup is bringing up a lot of web pages i never saw be...

Just found this out in the garage, don't know what volts it is set for. 2n2222 transistors, so mostly the same as the original post?

Besides the thread being 13 years ago, original poster may not answer. Many manufacturers change values for reasons unknown, maybe parts shortages or the assembler made a mistake.

Re: Baja B K Butler Tube Driver [documentation]

I now see the bias mod is what is underneath the board. Hopefully it works without doing that mod. Same with the zener diode. Confusing to see the bias adj on the schematic but not on the board, yet underneath, and the zener there too but not on the schematic. These should all be incorporated and al...

Sure i have some, what are the dimensions? Older 1/4w are larger than newer 1/4w. Pictures would help of the board.

Re: Baja B K Butler Tube Driver [documentation]

Not really helpful. Why did you make a layout with known problems? There is no 2.5v zener on the schematic.
