Re: Bearfoot Silver Bee Overdrive

Pics as requested. One Control though, not Bearfoot.
C4 is .22. There's no 68n that I can see so the R4 C3 high pass filter on the feedback loop is incorrect I would say.

Re: Cornish G2 - Guts, Schematic, Layout (from Tracer's Fund [traced]

I can only say that I've built a G2 in the past using Dirk's schematic, and it sounded excellent and right to me. It's hard to compare a pedal to YouTube clips.. along with the compression and degradation of the recording from the format and computer speakers, there's the effect of the guitar used a...

No I think the Sky Blue is a different pedal, but new Baby Blue in 3 or 4 knob, seen available in several places:http://deluxeguitars.com.au/bjf-electronics-bbod.html

Re: BJF Baby Blue Overdrive

Resurrecting this thread, did anyone ever trace one of these out? I have one but would like to try and avoid destroying it by de-gooping it, any suggestions as to the best way to go about it? Thanks. I don't believe so, but I see they've been re-released. All the BJF overdrives have been a similar ...

Re: Cornish G2 - Guts, Schematic, Layout (from Tracer's Fund [traced]

DH, you are correct, you are rude! Don't try to patronize anyone just because you did some nice tracing work, and don't try to block people from making constructive progress beyond your capabilities. Unlike you, I was able to actually build a great G2, in spite of the lack of information, and I als...

Re: "Broken radio" -like note ends with 3 different OD pedal

Those comments you copy-pasted seem to be about clones mostly. No they're not.. I think you'll find all these links are about original Hotcakes.. It's pretty commonly known that the Hotcake has a slightly fizzy decay, but IMO it's still a great sounding pedal. I know a number of people who use it l...

Re: "Broken radio" -like note ends with 3 different OD pedal

I believe it's a characteristic of the circuits you've named.. but it's subtle and generally not noticed in a band situation IMO. I´d say it´s definitely not so. You´d be amazed how much bands spend time fixing and adjusting MUCH smaller sound details in studio. These are definitely not charasteris...

Re: Anyone buy those NKT275 pairs on ebay?

Whether you believe the mojo or not.. those are some hard to get pieces now, and the seller sounds like he cares about what he's selling.
You can spend more than that buying untested trannies that end up useless.

Why on Board index in topic "Stompbox Builder's FAQs & How To's" , everytime when you click on "last post" at right side, open topic is "About to begin my first vero project, few Q's"? Because the FAQ section has multiple sub-forums and then a main forum. It's taki...

Re: Metal Can Raytheon RC4558T

sure, that's between different manufacturers of the same part trying the meet the same specs. the 741's bandwidth is so low that it's barely useable for audio work, you won't see that much of a difference with that part because the gain-bandwidth of the part is low and it's probably externally comp...

Re: Metal Can Raytheon RC4558T

IMHO.. metal can opamps are generally equivalent to those in modern packaging.. and in a circuit that derives distortion from diode clipping, I doubt you'll hear a difference. I think a lot of the difference people hear when swapping opamps in circuits like the TS are from impedance changes, more th...

Livitation.. it'd be nice if you were actually involved in this forum, and not just trying to sell your pedal to us.
5 posts.. all to sell this pedal and with constant bumping.
You haven't even responded to the questions/suggestions put to you.
