Thanks karul.
Change R127 is weird. That is on the switching part. Why change it?

Re: Ts808 Tamura mod
The number of the parts is base on which schematic?
PCB shows different names (R132, C106...)

Re: Clear Solid State Blackface Preamp
Sorry, I forgot and I missed this thread. Here's some layouts version of mine. Not verified , never build it nor tried on breadboard. I checked it when I did the layout and it could be fine. Maybe there's some minor error in the notes, and I advice to see the schematic, too. I drawn it for me, so if...

Re: Voodoo Labs - Tremolo [schematic]
Thanks for the schematic.
Let see if I got everything. That H11F3 is about the bypass switching? Can we ignore it in case of true bypass version?
Then I see, in the old version picture, two knobs I guess, that has a PULSE / SWELL... switch or something?

Diamond Fireburst [schematic]
Hello, I watched some video of this Fuzz/Distortion pedal, and I am very curious about it. But I cannot find any gutshot pictures, nor any clue about schematic. I just imagine the bass-treble eq is a baxandall type, but nothing else. https://i.imgur.com/ECKDomS.png https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k...

Re: Xotic - SL Drive
I think that 125B boxes in these period are a bit harder to find and more expensive.
Those are bigger than 1590B, but maybe is convenient to have the input and output in the upper side.

Re: Xotic - SL Drive
You're talking about R19, a resistor that seems missing in the Aion tracing. Maybe there are different edition of this pedal? That resistor could explain a different value for C11 capacitor. While, C12 and R18 placed before the Tone pot change drastically the Tone pot action, I guess, and it will wo...

I tried to draw it, too. (Not verified.)
If you want I can post it here later.

Thanks.
And is FB2 ferrite? Is that what drop the voltage?

Re: Stupidly Awesome Buffer [documentation]
Thanks! I think I never tried a wiring with also output grounded. But I have another question, now: "connect pin 1 and p8 with a 47R resistor"? (I guess that pin 1 can't be any except the first in the left top and pin 8 can't be any except the last in the right bottom). This means that the...

Re: Stupidly Awesome Buffer [documentation]
I noticed that in your schematic the pulldown resistor is absent.
Do you have a drawn of your alternative "true bypass" wiring without pulldown resistor?
It's a bit off topic, so just you want to do it.

Re: PAL Fx JCM 800 Emulator [schematic]
I solved it.
None error, but it was something weird about external disturbs and interference.
I changed a bit the wiring isolating the gain tracks , and now it seems work normally. I have to try it again, but it should be ok.

Re: PAL Fx JCM 800 Emulator [schematic]
Hello. The source resistor for Q2 is 10K, and it's correct following the PAL800 schematic and the other JFET emulator, beacuse both come from the original JCM800 schematic. I guess I heard about replace Q4 with a 2N5458, but I think that's not a big issue. I know Dr. Boogie has a scaled tonestack, I...

Re: PAL Fx JCM 800 Emulator [schematic]
I'm sure that should work, but I checked a lot of time, every single part, replaced suspect ones, resoldered, measured, continuity... Thanks for the tip about the biasing, but, until the Mid mess up the voltage I can't do anything. Why you say "the problem is in the transistor"? Do you thi...

Re: PAL Fx JCM 800 Emulator [schematic]
I think I had a similar problem with one of my jfet emus a few years ago, but I ended up binning it instead of debugging. I'd try to put a 1uF cap between the jfet follower and the tonestack, and see if it changes anything. Meanwhile, I tried it, but nothing changed. I replaced even the coupling 22...

Re: PAL Fx JCM 800 Emulator [schematic]
I still need help.
I can't bias the transistors, because gain and mid seems interactive with the bias of some transistors. And I got sputtering sound around half gain setting.
