Re: Colorsound - Wah [schematic]
Sorry, I don't have the board anymore, just the pics I took from back when I did. You could maybe estimate from the pitch of the resistors and caps which I think was about 10mm, so approx 3cm x 7cm.

help identify symbol on toggle switch
Hi. Wiring up my pups in series with a on/off/on switch (like vintage duosonic). Have found a toggle switch that might do the job but am noticing a symbol beside the center lug that I do not recognise.
Can anyone help identify it?

Re: Amptweaker - Tight Metal [traced]
I'm building this up from DimbuGG's 'Tight-Ass' layout on p26.
On the layout there are three blank capacitor slots between pins 1 & 2 on IC2 & 3 and pin 6,7 on IC1. Are these optional slots for small pF capacitors to reduce oscillation/noise?

I've tested the continuity of both switches and they are working fine.
Can anyone give me more tips to debug this?

Triple Wreck boost section issues
Hope someone can help. I've built up a Triple Wreck clone, the pedalparts "Wrecktifier" http://shop.pedalparts.co.uk/Wrecktifier_-_High-Gain_Distortion_with_Boost/p847124_12271789.aspx For the boost section I opted for the original boost as I liked the OD>fuzz sound in demos I'd seen. The ...

I think it's 2N5550 which is NPN with hfe 60-250, making it a good candidate.DrNomis wrote:When I view the image of the circuit board magnified, I can just make-out 2N5580, or something like that on one of the Si transistors, the other one is a bit harder to see.....

Re: Black Arts Toneworks - Pharaoh [traced]
Anyone saw the Supreme version? From their description I'd guess it's a pot (something close to 390k) wired as a variable resistor on the input and that seems like it could be useful. The other control they explain clearly but I find it hard to see the point of having six types of diode available o...

Re: Black Arts Toneworks Black Forest [traced]
There are gut-shots around and they don't look like they've messed with the original values of the Colorsound Overdrive, they've even used the same trannies. This is an educated guess and is not definitive, I've just staggered the input cap values around the original values.

Yes. I've attached an update that corrects the error in the layout and bom discussed on the last page. See below:

There is no "horus2" layout, the second layout I posted is probably what was being referred to.
