Re: FXCore Module - Compact Dev Board [documentation]
Yes agreed, I am waiting on AKM getting back into production. I did manage to get hold of 15 x AK4619 4 in/4 out pre production codecs a while back but if you only need 2 in/2out then I think Coolaudio have stock of the V4220 codecs which are clones of the Cirrus Logig CS4220. I might switch to the...

Not sure for now but the app will need beta testers at some pointReachahighernoon wrote: ↑01 Apr 2022, 14:47 Is there a way someone like me with no knowledge of coding can contribute?

Nope, no graphical programming yet but a guy is working on it : https://github.com/leoschofield/FXCoreDesignerReachahighernoon wrote: ↑01 Apr 2022, 14:47 There's still no graphic user interface to program the FXcore, right?
Either way dude, this is friggin awesome
I'll try to help him when I get the time
Thanks !

FXCore Module - Compact Dev Board [documentation]
So Experimental Noize came out with a DSP tailored for pedals. However the FXCore is not as easy to incorporate in a circuit as the FV1 is. That's why I made this very compact devboard (only 30 by 43mm). Also, it's breadboard compatible for easy prototyping. It takes care of the audio conversion and...

EHX - RTG Random Tone Generator [schematic]
Hey, Here's another weird pedal I never took the time to trace. Sorry for the middle section of the schematics, it's very messy. There's no values for the non-polarized caps, but I don't think they're that critical. I'll add them when I have the time to desolder and mesure. For now, I'd suggest ever...

Re: El Musico Loco - Wee Beaver Fuzz [traced]
based on a silicon Fuzz Face I dont see any part of this that's based on a Fuzz Face, imo. Im sure its a cool circuit, just an odd reference. I saw the Fuzz Face mentionned multiple times about that pedal, that's why I said that. But yeah, it's an adaptation of another circuit loosely based on the ...

Re: El Musico Loco - Wee Beaver Fuzz [traced]
Sorry, I don't have them with me anymore so I can't mesure.
However, in the small version, the board occupies the whole 1590A surface.
In the big version, the board is very small as you can see. You can probably guess with the pots dimensions.

El Musico Loco - Wee Beaver Fuzz [traced]
Hi! I had the occasion of making photos of both versions of the Wee Beaver Fuzz. So here are the photos and a schematic. Of what I can tell, the only difference between the big and small version is an additional capacitor in the small version. It's a brilliant fuzz based on a silicon Fuzz Face and a...

Re: Bontempo - PT2399 Tap Tempo & Moduation [documentation]
Great project. I was about to start something similar, but I want to avoid the digital pot... no idea if I'll manage! Thanks! Yeah Electro Smash did that with the time manipulator, and a Japanese guy with the Tapper. So it's definitely possible. But I wanted to keep the parts count as low as possib...

Re: Bontempo - PT2399 Tap Tempo & Moduation [documentation]
Looks awesome! I've seen this before and looking at adding it to a delay circuit. Just need to figure out how to burn the ATTINY. I've played with EEPROM's in the FV-1 and PIC's for relay bypass, but never Arduino stuff before Thanks! AVR (not arduino in this case) is pretty strait foward. You just...

Bontempo - PT2399 Tap Tempo & Moduation [documentation]
Hey! I recently finished a PT2399 Tap Tempo project called Bontempo. It's based on a Attiny84A and a MCP41100 digital pot. All details are on my website https://electric-canary.com/bontempo and Github https://github.com/ElectricCanary/Bontempo It probably can be of use to most people using PT2399 fo...

Re: Zvex - Seek Trem [traced]
Hey!
Not gonna add anything to what plush said, it's very well explained.
Q2 is hidden under the op-amp. Actually it's inside the socket, first time I see that.
The package is more compact than a standard to-92. I didn't manage to find it's name.

Oh thanks a lot Axl and Chuck!
My build sounded a bit weird, that's probably why. I'll modify it and listen again!

Zvex - Seek Trem [traced]
Here's a fun tremolo! It's a pedal I had for a while, I didn't took the time to trace it until now. The board is kind of a mess but I proceeded carefully. Of course the chip names are sanded, but the 4017 is quite obvious. For the double op-amp, anything works pretty much, I tested the TL072, RC4558...
