Re: Dunlop - Eric Johnson Signature Fuzz Face EJF1 [traced]

You all may or may not know... Fairchild is stopping production on many, if not all transistors...sounds like they're getting out of the semiconductor biz. There should be plenty of Dale resistors for all... And BC stopped making that blue wrap on certain sizes of their caps... very lame! It's a 470...

Re: Dunlop - Eric Johnson Signature Fuzz Face EJF1 [traced]

Wow…so much speculation! My job is to make the artist happy with the design… Eric Likes it…that’s all that matters to me. As for some of the tweaks…everything is very minor, but I think Eric can hear the junk floating in space! Every tweak was done to adjust for things he heard. And yes there are 3 ...

Re: Ibanez Dirt Box [schematic]

Green Rhino is a TS-808 (before the Fulldrive)
I actually had the Ibanez (might have been Maxon) pedal and traced the circuit... My buddy has one and said he'd dig it out... I'll snap some pics then.

Ibanez - Dirt Box 1976 - Maxon board MP-0701 [schematic]

Hey, does anyone have a picture of this pedal? I traced this circuit back in the '90's... But I didn't take a picture of it...
It's green and has the old butterfly logo Ibanez pedal like this (but it says DIRT BOX):

Tone Leper was a freq (around 800Hz) booster
Angry Troll is a linear signal booster
Sasquatch was a overdrive/Fuzz

Yes... I was young and stupid... and learning. Even though it was given in a book and not copied from a production product, it was copy written none the less. I decided after that to do my own from then on. But my actual words were not "against" but ... "However, I’m not a big fan of ...

Re: Way Huge - Angry Troll

Same PCB... different circuits.
The PCB has traces cut and such to make the Troll. The same PCB was used with mods on the Sasquatch.

The Angry Troll uses the same PCB, but it's modified...
