Re: Frantone - Lo-Tone Classic Fuzz [traced]

I took the liberty of adding the 1uf into the schematic from above and labeled it as C9.
Hope ya don't mind Bononoob.

The schematic pic in OP's post was hotlinked from a thread on guitar-fx-layouts: http://guitar-fx-layouts.42897.x6.nabble.com/Silvertone-1485-Twin-Twelve-td18170.html which was a reposting of the schematic originally posted on this site in this thread. https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=...

Your right, it is 390ohm. I looked at the vid again and was able to capture it a split second different this time and it was a bit more clear.

Beat me too it. I took a bunch of screen shots this morning and was going to work it out this evening. Before starting I decided to look here just in case and sure enough...
I compared your schematic to the shots I took and I don't see any errors.

Just a small thing, the model 1330 appears to be the opamp version, where 1330-1 is the discrete transistor version.

Re: Barcus-Berry Standard Preamp Model 1330 (OPAMP VERSION)

I was looking into low pass filters and realized that calculation for 5h, 100k is the same as .5h, 10k. Both have a cut-off frequency of 3183Hz. The rise fall time is the same for both as well at 0.000115. I guess it would be possible to sub the bass pot with a 10K and the inductors with .5h(???) I ...

Any chance you could post the schematic you ended up with? I've been looking at the original amp schematic and I'd like to know what all you chopped away to make it work.

Re: Barcus-Berry Standard Pre-Amp Model 1330-1 [schematic]

I may have found a few clues as to what the ITS30326 is. Seems the style of JFet, round, white on the sides with a black top was produced by Siliconix in the mid 70's and was known as the E series. From there I was able to find mention of E230 Siliconix fets being used in early Barcus Berry amps. Th...
