Re: Jext telex - white pedal.. no signal at all?!

So I’ve made some changes and now getting some signal… it’s very gated and low volume. Replaced the link with the specified 220r resistor under Q4... That was recommended to avoid oscillation or something. I had a 20k resistor in place of a 220k resistor (not sure how this happened.. a first for me)...

Jext telex - white pedal.. no signal at all?!

Hello! I’ve just finished the Jext telex white pedal using the layout over at tagboard effects.. I’ve quadruple checked everything and it all looks good.. however there’s no signal. .. main change was replacing the 220r under Q4 with a jumper (this was recommended to prevent oscillation late in the ...

Parasit studio - Quantum Defrakulator help? CD4013 issue??

Just finished building the quantum defrakulator and it almost works..... Its a 3 oscillator synth circuit with oscillator 1 turning into a 4 step sequencer when the LFO switch is pressed. All the oscillators work... the sequencer doesn't and neither does the switch for that matter. The switch doesn'...

Re: Vox - repeat percussion TICKING!

Update: have now run 3 separate ground wires off the board to the power source ground ... from ground strip, from 33r and from 4.7u ground legs..... without luck. This solution has been suggested on a number of threads but isn’t working over here... hmm.. ideas??

Vox - repeat percussion TICKING!

Hello! I know I know... this is an old issue with posts dating back 12 years across a range of sites.. despite giving it a crack I can't seem to figure it out. I've just built this on Vero with some of the mods mentioned throughout a range of threads.. namely, changing the 47k resistor to 10...

Re: Surfy Bear Reverb Mix Question [traced]

https://moodysounds.com/en/universal-reverb-kit-pcb-components/ Thanks for those Kinski! I came across the moody option also.. hoping someone out there has the time and inclination to create a layout incorporating The G’s wet dry mods! :) As I have built many reverb circuits I would suggest researc...

Re: Surfy Bear Reverb Mix Question [traced]

Here is the ugliest vero you'll ever see . I was curious how hard it is to make a vero for a complete circuit. Well it is really hard, at least for me. I'm not seeing myself using veroboard for anything with more than 20 parts, ever. This mod makes use of the op amp buffers to isolate the circ...

Re: Surfy Bear Reverb Mix Question [traced]

I know there are some other reverb kits on the market somewhere. Can’t think of the names now. Not of the 6G15, but probably still sounds nice. Im going to attempt the "ruthenium reverb' over at guitar-fx... reviews are quite positive. It uses the much smaller accutronics blue spring tank howe...

Re: Surfy Bear Reverb Mix Question [traced]

Oh, it was directed more to @tome.talevski, since he asked for a vero. Thanks for responding so quicky! Unfortunately, my skills limit me to reading and boarding much smaller schematics and my Vero request was with regards to the schem that Kinski posted. Not sure if anyone knows if there's a layou...

Re: Surfy Bear Reverb Mix Question [traced]

Hoping I could get some help here. I'd like to have indepent control of the Dry and Wet signal. Could I modify the single mix pot and use two mix pots instead? One for dry and one for wet? Pot A 1 to Dry signal, 2 to output, 3 to ground Pot B 1 to Wet signal, 2 to output, 3 to ground Would this wor...

Re: Bare bones Klon powering down issue

Can you post the schematic you used. Here's a link to the Vero layout I used. :) https://imgur.com/rTRSAHA Yes but a vero layout is not a schematic. Someone with a bit of experience can read a schematic and see at a glance, a vero layout has to be reverse engineered. The only schematic I can find i...
