PCB's are better, more consistent and saves tons of time, but some people like to do everything on perf

the mini ark sounds more like a cleaner version, while the pll is more fuzzed, i wouldnt call it a clone, i think more like heavily inspired by the pll.

the multiFx with the pixellator was the DOD tec4 and i think the tec8 also had it
