A Dunlop rep told some people I know that it is essentially a Keeley-style modded DS-1 with a few more changes. I was a bit disappolinted at first. however, a lot of people seem to dig the sound, and $80 for any good sounding pedal can't be a bad deal. It's no less valid to me than a personally-tune...

I added a simple low pass filter to the output. Not the most elegant design, but it it nice to slightly roll off the edge.devastator wrote:Some people have added a tone control to the red llama ? great or not ?

The BMP tone stack was definitely the starting point for the BSIAB2 tone stack. I added a couple of filters at the end as I thought it was still a bit too edgy, some people prefer to clip the caps, it depends on what kind of amp you'd have.
