Re: Black Arts Black Sheep [traced]
I measured transistors' hfe (overall gain) on mine using R.G.Keen method given in his article on selecting transistors for Fuzz Face clone. http://geofex.com/Article_Folders/ffselect.htm Transistors are 2N5089. The overall gain reads as following: Q1 436 Q2 406 Q3 410 Hi Vince can you say how big i...

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
Finally i could fix my tonebender, all this issue for a misslabeled cap, instead of a 15nF they sold me a 15pF, once I changed it the pedal worked awsome!!!
on my build i got oc75 and biased them around 9.2 with a 9,5v batery.

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
I built mine Where did you get that hot enclosure? they used to sale them on pedalenclousure.com, but the webpage doesn't work. yes I did, I followed their scheme, so what bias value you recomend? something higher or lower?. With stock values and OC75s it usually ends up somewhere between 7.5 and 9...

on the base of Q1 I've got 10K, but the attack pot is connected to Q2 and it base has a 100k.
anyway I will make some probes.
THanks

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
I built mine a few months ago, the trannies I used were from a smallbear kit oc75, I use some carbon comp resistor and a mustard cap, it sound great, but I got some of issues. first; the 470ohm resistor used to control volume I had to rise it value, but I had to rise alot y mean on my built is 33K a...

Re: Dwarfcraft devices - Robot Devil
ok based on Nocentelli I made this layout, I omited some resistors an a couple of caps and had to set 3 jumpers, if there is any mistake just let me know.

Tonebender MKII low volume
I just finished two pcb, one is a fuzz face with some mods, and the other is a tonebender MKII, for this one I tryed two differents pcb (Pidegeon FX and fuzzcentral), both sound awsome, but the both MKII have the same problem, at least for me, the volume is very low compared with the fuzz face and s...

To the best of my knowledge the rheostat is only in circuit for the lowest setting, it's not used for the other settings.
I very much doubt 25 ohms will alter the final outcome by earth shattering amounts.
Go build it and have some fun.
Phil.

hi guys, I'm decided to build this but I can't found 588-RJS150E RJS150E Ohmite Power Rheostats 50watts 150OHMS on stock is on the bill of components, so I wonder If it can be replace for this one Rheostats 50watt 125ohm 750V Std Shaft which is the same but 25ohm less, so the questions are; do I nee...

Re: Dunlop - Eric Johnson Signature Fuzz Face EJF1 [traced]
Hi guys, I have had some problemes to sleep last night, so I spent my time making this Layout and PCB for TH EJF1, it is based on Beedotman's scheme on page 14.
please someone verify it, i'd do it but have not to much time to do it.
