So I'm done with the pedal and it works fine now. As I haven't found anybody else posting a build report I thought I may just write my own.

I'm a fan of the small Solid Metal (AION makes one, too, they call it the Ember Distortion). So I really wanted the Pro version as well.

1. The Pro version gives you way more control.
2. The Pro version has lots of loops. A universal loop (always on when the pedal is on), a boost loop (only on when boost is on) and last but not least a bypass...

Hmm. Caline catalog is becoming quite puzzling one. These two here. Same f*king circuit. Paul Cochrane Timmy. 4558D, no switch for clipping, just the four 4148s for both. Highway Man has linear and log pots for bass/treble and Pure Sky has them at C50K. Pure Sky has designation screen prints under the components, but just by looking at the boards, component values and topology, i can safely say the circuits are identical.

Why on earth would anyone release two differently named pedals that have...

Hi all, I have a tc electronics t2 (digital reverb). It’s generating its own noise, when I change the reverb settings I can hear that it has an influence on the noise. I have audio traced the signal to the ak4556 ad da ic. The signal gets to there then seems to have the noise on pin 8. I’m wondering if this means the ic has blown? I can’t find schematics unfortunately. Thanks all

This one has escaped the forums and layout sites. Switchable 4/6/10 stages, the feedback control is minimum at noon, one direction adds fb out of phase, the other in.

I have a Smart People Factory Greenline overdrive and it stopped working.
When connected and engaged it gives a lot of noise.

On the PCB I see one red power wire loose (see attachements at place W4 on the PCB).

Any idea how I will be able to find a resource to solve the problem please?

Seems it uses a PT2399 with Bontempo, according to the official website.

I hope it's alright if I ask here, I'm not a member of many forums. I asked this question on Talkbass as well.

I'm making a quad pickup, so I need to make 4 individual one string/magnet pickups. Should I still be aiming for a 7k-10k resistance range? Or does it differ if I'm using a smaller magnet. I did a test run and don't see me going past 4k rotations around the magnet before I run out of space. Some info:

Magnet length: 18 mm

Magnet diameter: 5 mm

Amptweaker's first pedal design... lots of similarities to the Tight Metal/Tight Rock, but stripped down a bit. Less gain, no noise gate, a bit less tone shaping, no switches.

This one is pretty cool. A switchable silicon/germanium fuzz wrapped in Amptweaker's signature pre-drive bass cut and Muff-ish tone stack.

Ok, reviving an old discussion . The tried and tested LDR's (NSL-7532) are EOL and/or you can find them for crazy amounts of money. Does anyone know of new (still in production) alternatives for Univibe LDR's?

I found that there are still 9203 LDR and NSL-7530, but I do not know their production status or if they are EOL.

To be short. Do you know and tested still in production LDR's that make a lush Univibe (using a lamp, not LED like, Neovibe, Habinger x, etc.)?
