I’m planning a guitar build and trying to figure out the electronics wiring. I don’t fully understand switches, whether to us a DPDT or a 3PDT on/on/on.

Here is what I’m wanting to do:

HSH pickup configuration. 3-way blade pickup selector, wired Neck, Neck/Bridge, Bridge.

Then a separate mini-toggle: up - middle pickup only (shuts neck & bridge off). Middle - uses only the 3 way blade, for just neck/bridge options. Down - middle brought in with the neck/bridge.

I'm repairing at the moment a DOD 670 flanger that has what seems to be a shot SAD512D delay chip.

My pedal has a 110V power input, as I live in Europe and while I'm waiting to solve the current SAD512D situation I'm thinking in replacing the original small 110V primary power transformer for a 230V transformer so I don't need a mains voltage converter.

I searched the web for some information but didn't find any build reports for the Vandal from Hell yet.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve made the first Pelota delay: from the very name, it was a circuit inspired by a few popular PT2399 delays, such as the Rebote series, the Deep Blue Delay, and many others that aren’t that different to be worth mentioning.

Even then, with my more limited experience and knowledge, I knew I could try to do better, starting from the awful, noisy, high resistance inverting input stage you find in the vast majority of them that makes you wonder who did it first...

Another Caline overdrive. They're so cheap, I see it I buy it. With this pedal they heavily allude to it being Dumble inspired, and there are a lot of Dumble in a box pedals it could be based on.

Caline came out with e Big Muff clone too, the B-Fuzz , but I haven't bothered to open that up because I can tell you right now it sounds identical to my Nano Muff. What miniscule difference exists could owe to component tolerances.

he function of D14-15 is pretty unclear to me, they don't add clipping nor affect the volume or tone, so I just keep them in. D11-12 have the biggest effect on the distortion, you really hear the difference when you use a LED or silicon/germanium diode here. D8-9 have the least effect, I mean, you do hear the difference, but it doesn't really change the overall tone, the effect blends in with D11-12.

- The Delay part is a copy of the Danelectro Dan-Echo with a PT2395 IC w/ some mods
- The Chorus part is a copy of the Ibanez SC10 pedal w/ some mods
