dem through hole parts make it so big! Crude is cool! It's got a cool velcro type tone that gets weird octave sounds when you play with your tone knob and volume control.

I'd say that it's likely that you're right about the bass, my DLS doesn't have a lot on tap. I made up for it by installing a resonance control on my amp haha.

that's not 100K, it's a 100R (100 ohms) current limiting resistor. it's still on the vero.
