The IC spacing is also off. It should be 4X4, not 4X3.

Increase the .047uF cap to Vb to tase, swap the 47k resistor in series with the drive pot for a 10k, swap the drive pot for a 1M audio taper, mess with the clipping diodes until it sounds right. I'm guessing it would be like his 'Diaz mod' to BF Fender amps. An AB763 pre with the vibrato circuitry and normal channel removed. Probably a Dumble or Boogie type tone stack with the tone control switches. Big Twin type power section. At any rate, they're very likely to be Fender AB763 derivatives.

Finally applied Bajaman's mods to my pedal and it sounds much better. I still have intermittent octave down transients in the sound, but it is lessened for some reason. I think that will go away when I switch to the original ic. I like the slight treble boost that it gives. Should be a nice compani...

Cool. I guess I'll have at it tomorrow to get some pics and then try reversing it myself sometime in the next week.

If anyone wants to have a shot at tracing it, I'll take it apart and get detailed pics of everything in the next couple of days. I might have a go at it myself if I have the time next weekend.

I ordered a drilled 1590B from PPP and the jack holes are drilled too close to the edge to use a normal Switchcraft type jack. Is there anything with a smaller profile that I can use?
