Re: SMD Uni-Vibe
I dunno that fsb has any official policies about anything, let alone something as trivial as the thanks system, but from a personal point of view I reckon it's appropriate to thank a person when they share their work.. if they post a pic of what they've done and I like that/feel compelled to, I tha...

Jimi I think your house would be a great place to spend a vacation. Bring a tele, an old champ, some good rocking chairs, and lots of those wonderful McDonald's gift certificates everyone receives for Christmas for us to share hot apple pies. and lots of solder

Has Peavey sued someone? Transtube is patented, but I have not heard of an infringement. and I have to admit I own one little transtube practice amp and it sounds great. Transtube uses some new tube circuit emulation ideas. Marhsall valvestate is different and does a nice job of emulating interplay ...

Well, pretty much anything vaguely complex in electronics is patentable ... So you can probably patent a jfet mu-amp The jfet mu-amp was acknowledged to be an adaptation of the National Semiconductor app note. And that was not patented either. probably for a good reason. Patents are avoided for goo...

son of screamer without 1n34a diodes on one side(the asymmetrical pair I guess). This one just has mundane silicon diodes. call it "son of perdition" - 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 9 (refers to antichrist) --more rocknroll sounding. I do not find soft clipping very satanic though. The robin trowe...

Re: Guyatone - Wah Rocker [schematic]
be very careful. I opened one of these up for repair 5 yrs ago and the the wiring inside is incredibly flimsy. I replaced all of it. because most of it broke just from opening the enclosure. and this warning is from an owner of these micro pedals and loves them. The rubber flange is pretty sturdy an...
