I was just using a crappy soundlab adpater but I just tried it on my Burkey SIX and it was doing the same.
Does it need grounding ? The outer negative sleeve would have been grounding on the case with the original jack?. I have used an insulated jack so the ,now outer positive does not ground.

So I modded my 1980's Rev C to True bybass and changed the resistor values and all was well. Decided whilst I was in there to add a 2.1mm DC jack and now all i get is HUM... I wired it Black to Negative Tip, Orange to + and Red from thr battery to the switched + . Do I need some filtering or soemthi...

Bumping this cos I just got one of these in for a repair. The guy plugged his Whammy (? - I think thats what he said) AC adaptor into it. So either he's hit this little red delay with too much juice, or he seemed to think that the Whammy adaptor supplies AC - can anyone confirm that? Yes the whammy...

I have placed a couple of orders with Dr Tweek in the last couple of weeks for parts for a green russian and a SHO.
