Re: Metal Can Raytheon RC4558T

cork sniffer: A derogatory term used to describe a person that tends to overanalyze physical properties that may not even be relevant.

These people seem to split hairs on details and are usually just percieved as windbags who just like to hear themselves speak.

I'm pretty sure the ones in the link I provided are the correct units......

Sure...they say 6mm shaft...but 6mm=0.23622in (pretty close to 1/4")

Re: Lovetone - Doppelganger [traced]

Maybe this is old news.....but I learned something today.... Here's a hint for anyone working on this pedal - or any other pedal that requires a rotary switch such as these 3P4T's etc.... You can decide just how many clicks - or positions you want from the switch.... Here's the switch in it's normal...

Re: Lovetone - Doppelganger [traced]

Got my board etched today. I have my rotary switches. But I also like to do things just a bit different than everyone else so I'm probably overthinking everything but.... or use standard toggle swich SPDT and wire up accordingly. The rotaries are only performing SPDT duties in this design... So on t...

Re: Lovetone - Doppelganger [traced]

I'm slowly and ever so cautiously putting together the bits and pieces to get this together. One thing I did get was some 3P4T's......unfortunately the spacing seems to be off....I had hoped - against all hope - that the spacing on a "fullsize" pot would be the same. But alas...it is not. ...

Re: Nocturne Brain Seltzer Classic [traced]

My very first ever vero build. The tone control is definitely subtle..... Probably could've come up with a more creative name - but I wanted to get it boxed up and on the board asap. Actually works very well pushing a tube amp into a nice crisp overdrive. http://pws.cablespeed.com./danielzink/musica...
