I've just finished up my Dirtbag and I have no issues with clock whine or excessive distortion. The only problem I have is significant footswitch popping that I can't get rid of. Anybody else have this problem and any suggestions for getting rid of it? The pcb already has a 2.2M pull down resistor....

What I've been looking for (for quite a while) is something like this circuit - that I can hook up to the speaker leads (or just one lead - the other to ground ?) of a cobbled together amp I have. So the meter would bounce up and down based on speaker output.

Think this project would work ?
