Re: Deluxe Micro Man
To all, Looks like i forgot to include the Bill of Materials on the PDF project. I will let you know when the PDF is updated. you have expensive taste in BBDs ;) These look fake, and the schem clearly states that it uses MN3008... Thanks A LOT for sharing bro! ps: the overall style is quite Dirk_He...

Re: Anyone need some 1n270 Germanium Diodes?
hhmmmm....
I'll take a look at this when I get home.
Maybe if I win the auction - we can divvy 'em up - or do a group distribution. I really don't know what I would do with 250 germanium diodes..but I can see kepping a hundred or so on hand.

Seiche wrote:what are diffused LEDs? are those the standard (non superbright)? are they an absolute necessity?
Correct - standard - non-super bright.
With regards to are they necessary.....measure Vf between a superbright green LED and a standard diffused green LED and make your choice from there

Re: Sweet Sound Electronics - Mojo Vibe & Mofaux Vibe guts
RIP Uncle BoB. (Was kind enough to give me 2 sets of LDRs and 2 lamps for my vibe -claimed they were responible for the "mojo".) :( I have one of these on my bench right now with a blown bulb... Gotta start searching the hobby shops/model train shops for a suitable replacement.... https:/...

Re: DirtBag Delay ~ Deluxe Memory Man
I probably should mention that i knew full well that i was buying counterfeit devices from Smallbear. Steve tests all his BBD's before selling. He gave me a price i just couldn't resist. No sense in letting a bunch of MN3008's go to waste, they sound too good! I'm happy to share the project files. ...

My opinion would be no - it doesn't matter as the mosfets are being used as diodes.

telecaster wrote:I was looking at a schem for this and comparing it to the byoc reverb schem with the added dwell and tone pots. Could this be easily added to the layout?
I haven't looked the BYOC schematic - but if it's just a matter of replacing specific resistors with pots then I don't see why not.

Re: Hermida/GGG Reverb
It was a quick and dirty layout in DIYLC. If anyone wants to improve on it before I get to it - have at it. There are some traces that are different sizes etc. typically I like 'em a bit neater. And hey - if anyone wants to paypal me 10$ every time they download that would be cool too !! (APRIL FOOL...
