sounds good, I'll throw together a limiter and get back to testing . i will post my findings.

the last ones i burned up are R28-29. and U5 and a jumper that goes to ground . it seems that one side of the burnt jumper is ground and the other has -50vdc also pin 6 of U5 has -50vdc doesn't seem right to me. any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok so i noticed something that may be the problem. jp4 "jumper" in the upper left corner the 3rd pin down has 16v on it but i believe that is going to ground, is that right?

does anyone here have any experience with the older Rocktron velocity 300 ? I bought a used one with hopes of repairing it and need a little assistance, first off when i got it it needed a transistor, i replaced that then when i powered it up to see what was going on with it it started smoking resis...

yeah they change when i hit the bypass pin 1,13 drop to 6.3v no change at 2,12

so far i checked voltage on U6 1:17.5vdc 8:17.9 2:0 9:0 3:17.5 10:17.9 4:0 11:17.9 5:17.7 12:0 6:0 13:17.9 7:0 14:0 and U5 1:17 8:17 2:0 9:17 3:0 10:0 4:17 11:17 5:0 12:0.7 6:17 13:0 7:0 14:16 the voltages shown are "i think" bypass cant tell since the led for bypass burnt out but when i h...

something tells me its U5 for some reason. and now when i unplug and plug back in i get the effect but no led.

OK, changed the ribbon cable and no change, off to check voltages i guess. and im pretty sure i already checked the expression jack but ill check again.

clean signal is fine but when you engage the effect theres no signal and the chorus/vibe led dims and if i unplug it and then plug it back in i get the effect but as soon as i hit the bypass the same thing happens again
