Re:

I have an NZ made valve amp called the Jansen Bassman (in the 50's, 60's in NZ the cost of importing Fender amps was pr...

identification of schematic symbol

apologies if this is the wrong area to ask this - seemed the right one to me, so mods please move it to the right place if I got it wrong. I'm having a go (my first go, I might add - complete n00b) at making a pcb for the ibanez flying pan fp-777 phaser and I sourced the original schems. I'm trying ...

Re: Ibanez - PT-909 ( Phase Tone )

Did anyone get these pics, draw a trace (or even better a pcb?)? and has anyone heard this phaser? I'm looking to build a phaser that has a depth/width as well as rate option with relatively easy to find parts... if not this, any suggestions? I could go for the phase45 or phase90 but not so sure abo...

my virus scanner detects a virus in the link above (first post) - be carefull!! I checked it out...cause I was curious and on a linux box. I am 99% sure there is no virus. Some sort of executable file would have to exist for this to be the case. Since there isn't anything but a blog, I am convinced...

I've played with various incarnations of corel, photoshop, paintshop, gimp and I guess I'm a bit thick cos they all confused the hell out of me (not much for reading instructions). a while ago I discovered http://www.photofiltre.com and downloaded their program. it seems very simple and intuitive an...

I've found http://www.effectsconnection.com to be a relatively inexpensive site. they send all the way to NZ, and usually in a (again 'relatively') fast time. friendly and responsive emails... and they take international credit cards (some sites consider NZ credit cards dodgy cos.. well .. who knows...

not sure if it can be confirmed as a good site or not, but whenever I'm looking for an equivalent component I use http://www.datasheetarchive.com/ only get 20 lookups per day, but it has a 'equivalent' button that lists a bunch of alternatives and they each have the spec pdf files to download and co...
