Re: Wampler -Triple Wreck- [traced]

No, I actually didn't take any pics of the board topside before I boxed. I have some of the last version, but not this one. Are you going SMD for the 1590 layout? lol, actually I was talking about the top side of the enclosure  No, I am doing through hole and no boost circuit. But, I am addin...

Re: Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive [traced]

built my layout here and it is now verified (amended the post). initially the gain wasn't pot working, but turned out to be a dodgy pot. replaced that and it's all working as desired. interesting OD... may end up on my board. tested on my ruby and it certainly highlights harmonics.... will see how ...

Bloomz, if that's your opinion of this site, and you disagree with what is done here, you can just get the fuck out of here. or not.. hang around.. or some other option I've not considered, but things here are unlikely to change.. it's all about the share here.. personal gain is kinda the antithesi...

welcome to FSB... carefully note the "F" in FSB. CodeMonk has already clearly articulated how it works here.

this is among the saddest of results from the saga, and even more a victory for those is the loss of some prominent tracing members :(

wish I could help you further mate, but 'polarity and solder shorts' pretty much exhausts my troubleshooting skills. tried other ICs or same ICs in other units to ensure they're good?

I don't know enough about circuitry to figure out where "things should happen" but the fact that you're getting clean only and it has the MN3007, I'd be assuming the 3007is where the ...

so looking at that initially, it looks okay (although I can't 'read' resistors so dunno if the values ar eokay), caps and ICs are polarised correctly. issue I see from the voltages is they're way away from what mine are at this post http://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15164&start=20#p...

I added the two 1M's, on the input and other under the board on the output for the popping. I omitted the 68k beacause it's for the led resistor. Thank you for your corrections. 68k for the LED? It's not for the LED my friend :) 10k resistor for LED limiting is the maximum I have seen. Beside, if y...
