Re: Rockbox - Boiling Point [traced]

I had no luck with the vero layout, but I did up a dual layer PCB. If anyone's interested in a 2 layer board, I'll post it.

I've got it wired up with that vero right now, just waiting to grab some toggles and I'll be able to confirm whether it is verified or not.

Come now, you need to share what you did to fix it. No person has ever been the only person to make any mistake, and you never know when someone else will build this and run into the same issue.

Re: Demeter - Tremulator [traced]

sorry, it was a good layout, it just lacked a few labels to tell what certain solder pads went to, which way to put in the vactrol, and the blend pot was wired in wrong resulting in no tremolo sound. I went nuts though and put all kinds of labeling all over it, I guess I like to do that. thanks for...

My layout is weird?

Anywho, so it was pretty simple to change the full-tone to the demeter, eh? That layout was based heavily on the actual board layout in the Supa-Trem...

Re: Lovepedal - OD Eleven [traced]

http://www.freestompboxes.org/download/file.php?id=14847 This diagram is not correct. The OD11 that I have has crazy treble. The diagram would imply that the OD11/Amp11 has treble in the range of 1/2 to 1/4 on a Timmy treble pot. My OD11 has treble from about 1/2 to beyond full treble on the Timmy....

Re: Rockbox - Boiling Point [traced]

I kind of thought that's why the tone pot is 2k, r8 and r10 are keeping the 2k pot fixed within the useful range of a normal 20kW. But then, I'm just guessing...

Well, I mean "Muff" is a product name, not an electronics term. They could change the circuit to a COT50 clone and say it's a Muff if they want... :)

why not just use the ext select jacks? That's what I AM using. I have the SDPT wired to a stereo jack. sleeve is wired to common on the switch, tip and ring are wired to the outer lugs of the switch. Using a TRS cable plugged into the switch which I've then split into two mono cables, one plugged i...

Mesa Road King Footswitch... HELP!

So I need to be able to switch between two channels on the Road King without using the enormous foot switch. Only channel 1 and 3 are used, so I don't need all the extra switches. From the looks of the attached schematic (Page 11), it looks like the switch shunts to ground. However, wired up a SPDT ...

Re: Stupid Power Question (Positive Ground)

Thanks for the info! I have a few LT1054 (I think). I will give them a try. Why do you recommend against daisy-chaining all the positive ground pedals to a dedicated one spot? I thought yours worked great? Is it just that it has a big potential risk associated with it? Thanks! not so much that. It'...
