Re: Bogner La Grange [traced]

?? You drew the schematic and marked the boost yourself didn't you? Just take the boost part incl switches and put it after your current output.

Looks like a foil capacitor. Use any (MKT/WIMA/SMF)

Re: Bogner La Grange [traced]

Also.... did anyone figure out what the PIC16f1823 microcontroller chip is doing in the original box? Yes, they control only the 3pdt relays and have nothing to do with the effect it self. It is a way to use soft touch switched to control the relays. The effect itself is 100% analog. Anyone interes...

Re: Bogner La Grange [traced]

Sorry for my late reply.. life got in the way :D A couple of observations: 1. Boost should be after the main effect not before. 2. The IN of the boost goes to a 1M resistor to ground (pulldown resistor) and the 100n capacitor 3. There are some electrolytes in your schematic that are missing polarisa...

Re: Bogner La Grange [traced]

This is a way to make the powersection (componentnumbers are not the same as in the eagle trace of the la grange!)

Re: Bogner La Grange [traced]

On the schematics above the gate-source protection diodes are shown with different values, which is right value? Is there anything else to make changes, before I redrawing the schematic? No, no other real changes. You could consider adding more of the DC filter caps as in the original (100uF/47uF e...

Re: Bogner La Grange [traced]

If I look at the Eagle trace and the different schematics I see some differences to both the first schematic of Saruman and the updated one of Manfred. Bogner La Grange Boost only.JPG The difference is that compared to Manfred's schematic there is an additional pulldown resistor R13 and C2 is revers...

Re: Griffin MT-2 Death Metal Mod

Do you have some pictures of the pcb after all modifications? That would be great!!

Re: King of Tone Mystery.....

Great thank you for the info! Should it not be on the red channel gain though?

King of Tone Mystery.....

Does anyone here know what the C12 optional capacitor is for in the rev 4 KoT? There is no mention of it in any schematic I can find (yes there is a C12 in all schematics, but the parts numbering of the schematics do not match up with the PCB). There are 14 SMF capacitors in the picture which is the...
