Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
i was reading and telling what i hace read on fuzzcentral, and also some other pages, but im not 100% sure since i dont have the vintage unit I believe fuzzcentral recommends something like 70-70-100 and getting Q3C down to -4.5V. It's not a reliable source for MKII info. The OC81D circuit on top o...

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
Hehee I know with my mkII's I have one with OC75s and the other has OC84s - the 84s are so forgiving and those bias up great with no issues, but for my OC75s I had to use a trimmer on Q2c to get the voltages right with the 8.2k resistor on Q3c and swapping them around like EW says. Was a pain to ge...

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
i tried a 33k first but q3 voltages was lower, so i used 47k(stock mkII) and q3 got about 8.5V now, This is with the 2.2K on Q3? what do you get with the 8.2K back there? you should get around 7.5-8.5V did Small Bear instructions tell you 4.5V? with 8.2k i was getting like -5V, and sounds fine, but...

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
i tried a 33k first but q3 voltages was lower, so i used 47k(stock mkII) and q3 got about 8.5V now, so maybe i can increase the Q3 collector up to 6k and maybe a bigger resistor on Q2 will mae things better, but was talking also the bypass(not so sure how to call it) in te Q3 Emiter and Q2 base tha...

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
at min: Q1:-8.38V Q2:-0.589V Q3:-7.7v at max gain: Q1:-8.38V Q2:-0.4V Q3:-7.73v but im not so sure about Q3, it has already a 2,2Kresistor on it I believe that's the problem. if you alter (lower) the resistor (8.2K) on Q3 collector too much, you will make it more boomy. you can get away with maybe ...

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
Hi Electric Warrior, Beedotman, Jamonslamon, and fellas, it's tonebender mkii building time again! A friend of mine, whom i gifted with my very first oc75 build, was recently recording at a very nice local studio, and guess what, the engineer was stunned at the pedal. Pure violence, he said. So i d...

Re: marshall JVM410H tube amp problem
My Marshall MA100C thumps when I power it off too, I don't think there's anything major wrong with your Marshall amp since it sounds like it's powering-up normally, but definitely give it a good check out, make sure you do take note of Deltafred's advice since it only takes one little mistake which ...

marshall JVM410H tube amp problem
Hi, i have a JVM amp, that its a monster i love it, but last saturday during a rig, someone drop the HEAD, and mess up the amp, i have try it, and works fine, except, that, when i turn it on and off, i hear a bump coming from the speaker, i think that its maybe a capacitor that has damage, or maybe ...

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
direct from the guitar has the same problem, im not so sure what happens, maybe its mi supply that has a preamp on it....iq01221 wrote:Put it first in the chain, just after the guitar. The cause of the problem are the buffers cointained in the tuner, wah and the wahmmy.
Best regards!!

this will be my only positive ground effect, im going to use another wall brick for this, but, i doesnt matter that i get positive voltage on the chain??astrobass wrote:Yeah that's the idea. Don't daisy chain it with any normal negative ground effects.
