Re: Behringer VM1 Vintage Time Machine

Help? The MN3102 provides a supply voltage and to antiphase clocksignals to the BBD chip. What exactly would make it quieter?? Well,I just thought like that because MN3102 was built for MN3xxx,and 4047 was general-purpose IC  Anyway I got some MN3005's and MN3101 so I will try that combo, and ...

Re: Behringer VM1 Vintage Time Machine

Thanks. From what i've read i'm led to beleive the 3201s are limited to the amount they can drive, so a 4047 may deliver a stronger output yes... Also the 4047 is cheaper. I think it will be doable but i'm gunna have to do some actual research. I don't know for sure but I think that MN3201 is "quie...

Re: Hiwatt DR103 clone

yeah i also think 180 is alot to pay for a transformer! And torroidal transformers are supposed to be cheaper to make aswel i think. could be wrong but i think thats what i read before! but there better cos the dont cause as much hum and stuff cos the circle cancels it out. Listened to those clips!...
