Re: MXR - Custom Audio Electronics - Boost/Overdrive MC-402 [schematic]
Just tried one. It was terrible. It seems like the boost is after the overdrive channel??? And the overdrive tone was :slap: What were they thinking? They could have poached one of the many successful MXR designs. That boost was nice and clean though. I had so much hope for this. I didn't want to be...

This thread is relevant to my interests because I’m looking to build a boost into a D+ pedal. If that’s really what this is I can save myself some time and energy.

Re: Mad Professor - Stone Grey Distortion [traced]
Greetings, I started to think about the 15p capacitor connected from the inverting part of the opamp to the tone control and I'd like to know how it works. I could realize that the opamp stage is a mxr dist+ kinda circuit. Ok here's the point: How is it interactive with the tone control (frequencie...

Re: Resonant Manifold Drive
It definitely does look a different. At first I thought it was some sort of transistor boost into JFET muamp but now I’m not so sure.

I think we're all in agreement that claims of originality can't be ignored.Steven_M wrote:Yes indeed! This pedal is killer! No lack of interest on the part of anyone here.

Re: Resonant Manifold Drive
Lack of general interest leads me to conclusion that there is no rush, so I've took my time and spend it on projects I was working on earlier before it arrived. I'll try to do something with it over weekend Trust me when I say there is plenty of interest. I almost asked for an update yesterday but ...

Re: D*A*M - Germanium Pre-Amplifier B-13 BOOST
But why do a cap blend at the input and a FAC control at the out? Both do the same thing....you might as well have FAC/FAC or Filter/Filter. I have been putting FAC style control at the front of my rangemasters but leaving the output cap stock. I thought I posted this earlier but I must not have hi...

This pedal reminds of the Patent-Pending Plim Soul with the soft to hard clipping control.

The original design is over at DIYSB's. Try searching for CMOS distortions. It was a while back so you'll have to do some digging.

As much as I love to tinker with pedals and mess around on these forums, I've always said that if i ever brought a product to market I'd have it vetted by an EE. Especially someone familiar with commercial designs.

Roger Mayer Voodoo Bass
I found a schematic online for the regular Voodoo fuzz but I wanted to post an update that had the Voodoo Bass values. I crudely pasted the bass version details over the original schematic because I suck at using schematic software. This is the original version of the Voodoo Bass so it is quite poss...
