Torchy has a "verified" vero layout for this IIRC.

Here is the latest incarnation of the Harmonic Converger - high impedance and using a 500mh wahwah inductance. https://www.freestompboxes.org/members/bajaman/Baja/Baja%20Harmonic%20Converger/BAJA%20HC%20high%20impedance.jpg https://www.freestompboxes.org/members/bajaman/Baja/Baja%20Harmonic%20Conve...

Re: Hadley - Harmonic Converger
IMPORTANT This is at present a theoretical discussion topic. DO NOT BUILD this just yet - it will not work - too low impedance - the 4.7mh coil has an impedance of 118 ohms at 4khz!!! I am working on a high impedance version which uses a wah wah inductance - 500mh. Stay tuned bajaman Will do. PS: T...

Re: Hadley - Harmonic Converger
Hey Andrew - too quick for me   The Schematic is so basic it hardly needs a circuit board layout. The 220k resistor is just the input impedance of the BOSS GT-8 effects loop! The R1 and R2 represent the two halves of a single linear potentiometer. For clarity - here is a hand drawn schema...

Re: Hadley - Harmonic Converger
Quickie PCB layout for your version of the Harmonic Converger...or as President George W. Bush would say, "Harmonic Convergerator".
The layout should be correct, but it's 4am here...so hopefully sleep deprivation didn't cause any mistakes.

Re: Hadley - Harmonic Converger
Ha Ha Andrew - love that witches brew formula  Unfortunately the Taddeo preferred embodiment operates at a much higher frequency than the Harmonic Converger, and so is not suitable. I have been playing around with underdamped low pass shelving filters and this is the closest I have been able ...

Re: Frantone "The Sweet" Schematic [traced]
IMHO too much gain from the 1st stage for those GE-trannies, when the gain is maxed they can't stand this pound and the tone is unusable. I would add a trimpot after the 1st stage for limiting the max. gain and would adj. it 'til the sounds starts gargling. JHS I would tend to agree... Your suggest...

Re: Psionic Audio - Triad
Lyles a great guy and builds some quality stuff. I'm sure he'd "point you in the right direction" if you wanted to ask about building a DIY version of the Triad. He might not "cough up the schematic", but at least get you a good start.

NOS Texas Instruments 2N1305 PNP Germanium Transistors
This is an extra box that I have. There are 240 NOS transistors in the box. Small Bear sells these for $15 per pair (pre-tested). They sound very, very good in Fuzz Faces, Tonebenders, Rangemasters, Buzzarounds, etc...and it's getting VERY hard to find decent quantities these days. I have TWO boxes ...
