Re: $40 Daphon delay - Analog modders plaything.

Hey Scruffie, have you tried using braid (solder wick) to remove IC's?, I find it much better thatn the solder sucker, try it and see if it does the trick for you too.

Re: Dunlop CryBaby GCB-95... Battery and Black Magic!

No, DC Jacks break the connection for the positive side of the battery. Otherwise you'd have shorts between V+ and Ground anytime the snap touched the pedal's case, which I think is not that unlikely.

If analogguru had finished his Schematics, they would be posted already. Meanwhile, you can try your own tweaks, this observation couldn't be more accurate. Dude, put it on a breadboard and experiment. The RM is a simple circuit. It will take you 10 seconds... All these rangemaster-based boo-...

Well, we now have three brand names that use exactly the same products, Maxtone, Denio and Century.
Analogguru mentioned hem with some more in other thread.

I did that to a rebote build of mine, it's the coolest thing you could do to a delay, In my opinion.

Re: Analog Man AR20DL analog delay [traced]

It's a modified Daphon delay. No custom fabrication, that's their stock enclosure. But according to some testimonials, it's lighter, the daphon is probably very heavy... Thanks for the pics Fuzzer! If I can get my hands on a Daphon delay, I'll see if I can get two! Anytime man! and thanks for that ...

Analogman - modded Daphon AR20DL analog delay [traced]

Míosamigos, greetings to everyone. Here are some pornoshots of the much excellent (have to admit it) Analog Man delay. It really is a great sounding delay. As you all might know by now, it is an improved Daphon delay and supposedly, the guy makes a handful of changes to it, I tried to capture every ...

Dude, the first stage gives like 10 times gain. However, I agree with you, the feedback used also prevents the beta from being significative.
