positive ground wiring

hi, i have make a tone bender, but im not sure how to wire my 3pdt, do i just change the negative lead for the positive lead in the wiring, but if i do that, i would be giving positive voltage to the guitar jacks, or that its the way to wire it?

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]

i already got build mine tonebender, here are some pics,

voltages at bias are.

Q1, -8.5v
Q2: -1.2v
Q3: -7.6v
i had it before Q3 at -4:5v but, it sounded more like a high gain distor than a fuzz, so a re biased at -7.6v and it sounds like hell, its really nasty and cool, i love it

Re: jimmy page tone bender doubts

will it be a bad idea to cut off the legs of the trannies??i got sockets on the pcb but trannies leg are too long and there its a bit problem with on board pots.. As long as you don't cut the legs off too short you should be fine, I tend to leave the legs a bit longer than usual when soldering in G...

Re: different hole sizes in eagle cad

I started with the gaussmarkov library ( like madbean you can see parts of the that library in his ) , and tweaked component and hole sizes to suit my needs. If you want bigger pads just edit the library. Andrew. they rare big enough, but i have a custom DRU, thay makes big pads, on normal componet...

Re: Custom Made knobs for your project or brand and repros

i dont undestand about the price of tayda... i just say that 24 USD for a pair of knobs its expensive, and if you campare then with the price of high quality aluminium knobs or real marshall or fender knob, that are really good quality, its still very expensive, but i NEVER said that this were like ...

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]

I'm not sure if Small Bear gives you correct transistors for an authentic MKII. I remember multiple times someone posted that Q3C voltage hits 4.5V (instead of 7.5V-8.5V+ like originals). A couple quick searches, I found this one https://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=45496.0 WAITTT...

Re: Dual Buffer Op Amp PCB

This version is cleaned up. Nothing but the bare essentials, and it fits in 0.75" x 1.00". Nothing to clean-up in the realm of overly large pads. Much simpler. Haven't verified this one yet, but you can easily trace it vs the schematic, so if the schematic is good (and I do believe it is)...
