No idea, it was a pull. To narrow it down, the 9203 from Small Bear's stock and an NSL-32 did not work very well.

I wonder by how much, if at all, the Bearfoot Model H differs.

LED is notated: 5MM RED (diffused). Would be difficult to identify the exact LDR, it took me a bit of swapping to find one that worked well. For a vactrol, VTL5C6 may be a good bet.

Yeah sorry i didnt think about it like that. Guess its just frustrating loadsa fuss over generic overdrives and more esoteric effects sit un-DIY-able I take it back. My grandma died two days ago i am not really thinknig straight. I understand your frustration but esoteric is exactly the operative w...

That's cool, but why belittle this member's contribution? If you really don't care, don't post about it.

Re: Chassis.
Yeah, something like 0.9mm. Seems flimsy to me but I suppose the tweed amplifier chassis are only a little thicker than 1mm. Will just have to design for fastened corners. Not really important but I think that the extra millimeter of thickness is quite significant, not to mention other structural ad...

Thanks for the other suggestions, as well. Was just trying to avoid purchasing tools that will get limited use.

Chassis.
Does anyone know of any vendors that will do custom drilling/punching for a single chassis at a reasonable price? I really just need the socket holes and an IEC hole if possible.

Re: Mad Professor Ruby Red Booster
I'm not sure about some of those values. At the right of the board, the resistor you've notated as 47k (in the black box), clearly has the markings for 1M. Also on the right, the "470k" is marked as 470R. Could you double check those, please? Thank you.

Re: Mad Professor Ruby Red Booster
As Barcode said, try adjusting the bias (through the source resistors) for roughly Vcc/2. That could definitely account for the 25%.
I'd check R4 and R14, though, as those were the resistors I was most unclear about.

I'd check around the Treble control first and foremost. Also, resistor values can be tricky due to lighting.

Re: Mad Professor Ruby Red Booster
Hm, figured they would have biased up similarly to the SBEQ.
To avoid confusion, the drain and source voltages should be swapped.
