Re: Antelope Effects - Morning Dew EQ [traced]

i was given a pq9 from my old guitarplayer and its ok, but It would make more sense to have either 3 controlable sweeps and not a static frequency for high and low eq or control over the "Q"/width of frequencies would be nice. I just remember thinking that it was ok but need more control....

Re: Antelope Effects - Morning Dew EQ [traced]

"There are some dedicated unity gain buffers out there I am also working on an EQ based on the PQ-9 which is what the MDEQ was based on." ( j frommel quoted from bjfe community forum ) http://filters.muziq.be/model/ibanez/9/pq9 can only find the schematic for sale but its out there... The...

Re: Ibanez CS9 Chorus MOD

Increasing R123 will reduce the mix level of the effect, this may be the result you want. Perhaps our resident Ibanez expert Dirk could chime in?

Re: Ibanez - AD-9 (Analog Delay) [schematic]

The more I looked at that PCB design for the single side the more I hated it, I just can't stand sloppy work or jumpers. This updated version looks a bit better and has no jumpers, C2 is oriented diffferently, R5 has moved a bit, and all the traces have nice curvey lines, like some of the old school...

Re: Malekko Spring Chicken - tiny reverb pedal... [traced]

I have one on order, I love my Malekko E600B and the Bassmaster is shear insanity. I will post a review when I have it here. Don't know if Josh (Mr Malekko) is a member here or not but he is a very cool guy. Perhaps he will chime in, perhaps not. If it sounds good I think $150 for a verb pedal is fi...

now,i wonder what its function is since removing it had no affect on the effect :?
It protects the components from problems with the power rail, should not be an issue with a 9v battery or a regulated power supply but it's good to have protection.

Re: Ibanez - AD-9 (Analog Delay) [schematic]

here are the files for the etch your own (Edit: see newer files in later post below)

All my boards are usually double sided with a ground plane so this is actually my first attempt at a single sided board, if any one notices anything that needs fixing please PM me and I will update the file.

Re: Ibanez - AD-9 (Analog Delay) [schematic]

I'd think something like that would be easy to do oneself. It would be totally easy, I just hate etching my own boards and I need 20 of these for a project I am working on. If anyone wanted an etch your own version I will make a single side version and post it. Would also be easy enough to do on Ve...

AD-9 Piggy Back Boards

Would anyone be interested in getting some piggy back boards for the AD-9 to double the delay time. I am having some made and if some others wanted some I could add a few to my order. It's a small run so I am doing them without solder mask but the boards will be double sided with plated through hole...

Re: BOSS DC-2 clone group order?

I might be up for it. The seraph boards are almost sold out and I am changing the design a bit for the next run. I do have DIY boards for sale that are a DC-2 on Steroids. They fit into a 1590DD. I can also supply the chipsets since I have these in stock anyhow for my Seraph builds. The build that f...

Re: Ibanez AD-80 Analog Delay [schematic]

I would make a PCB that would work with either the MN3005 or MN3205. Pardon my ignorance, but how would that be accomplished, since the two are different polarity (if you don't mind me asking)? Something as simple as a switch? I've got most of an ExpressPCB file done on this already, but would like...

Re: Ibanez - AD-9 (Analog Delay) [schematic]

And jep... 9 series are bitches because of the absent numbering  Tell me about it, I did a rebuild/mod/rehouse of an ADL and the work on the main board was no problem but the PCB would not fit into a 125B. I wanted to make a few more of these and the original AD-9 board fits fine. What a b...

Re: Ibanez - AD-9 (Analog Delay) [schematic]

I did some mods and re-housed a ADL not long ago and the results were pretty great so I thought I would try a similar mod with an AD-9. Much to my chagrin, the component numbers are not on the board :( I did a bit of work on the AD-9. Using Dirks Schem I did an overlay of the component values on the...

Re: Boss - DC-2 ( Dimension C ) [schematic]

CV is control voltage and I just put it on there for the synth crowd, for a guitarist it is pretty useless. Th input buffer is realy only good for studio guys so I bypass that when wiring up one for guitar.

Re: Boss - DC-2 ( Dimension C ) [schematic]

The pots instead of the switches should not make any difference, I have made units both ways. I have DIY PCB's for this project if you are still up for the challenge. what do the pots do? also, over on the electro forum I remember you selling boards. I thought you said it was different from the dc-...
