Re: D*A*M - Professional Fuzz Sound
If you reverse the polarity of all the polarized parts you can sub NPN germaniums right into this circuit. Its not NPN itself that causes the noise, its trying to wire up a PNP circuit as negative ground. OC140 are generally very high quality transistors so your build with them will likely be quiete...

Re: Rogue Sound - Savage Henry (DAM related)
Well you have guts and photos so its not really a request. Its the same layout as a meathead with some different values thrown in for the resistors and caps. At first glance the input cap is much larger than a meathead and the first transistor is definitely different. I have seen zetex mosfets in th...

WTB: AC125 transistors
Im looking for some AC125s if you've got 'em. Would be happy to buy a bunch or a set if you have them. Whatever works as long as they are viable for a tonebender. Thanks!

Very cool to see there that close. After buying two Peaks (one for at the office, one at home) I haven't gone back to the RG Keen method. The RG Keen method is probably a little more accurate but with Germaniums and the amount of conditions that apply, I use the peak as a building block and my ears...

Re: BJF - Honey Bee Overdrive degooped [traced]
Johan mentioned a few days ago that I should post this project. I have built and verified the board, although I have not had time to dig into it. EDIT FOR CLARITY: THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS THE SCHEMATIC FROM THE DEGOOPING PROJECT. Project document: YellowShark.pdf The PCB image should be printed at 6...

What is that bitchin' technique he used for the solder lugs? They're like one piece inset to the Garolite? The Gold on Black looks positively regal inside the box! The designer for Moolon [and 1/2 owner] has brought an artistic aesthete to every pedal and guitar they fabricate. It leaves the the &q...

I dont have a pedal to take apart and help you or I would have. Maybe i'm way off base here, but when this particular project got going, didn't you ask abfackeln: "How about the polite request on the bottom of the pedal that asks that photos of the PCB not be posted on the internet..." :s...

Re: Toneczar Openhaus [gutshots and schematic] [traced]
Seems like the OP just built his clone and that was that. No more info. :( Think before you speak...... You've likely noticed that I've been quite active in another project, inside and outside of this forum. Also worked with kusi in fine-tuning the schematic (he did the real work); attempting to va...

Re: Moolon - Class A Boost
From the layout there it looks like three of the same circuit in parallel with different input and output caps to control the three frequencies that are boosted.

What was the date on the bottom of the pedal? I heard from the builder that there had been some changes to the circuit and am wondering when this one was made.

Re: Emma - Reezafratzitz [ goop-alarm ] [traced]
Can someone explain the bypass scheme used here? It seems like an output switching system but there is quite a bit of circuitry that the signal goes through before that switching point in 'bypass mode.' Seems like one half of a dpdt is doing the signal switching and the other half is just for the LE...

Re: Himmelstrutz - Fetto [gut shots + schematic] [traced]
I'm thinking about making a vero layout. For those of you who have a Fetto, which DIP switches and jumpers do you actually use? I don't feel like going to the trouble of arranging it to take jumpers, just gonna hardwire it all. If you had them all sit across two strips jumpers could be easily made ...
