I just came up with this small effect. It is a single transistor booster, overdrive and distortion. Right now it stays on the breadboard, but I plan to put it in a box soon. It sounds good to my ears and the input caps network can change pretty much the sound of the unit: going up with gain it’s bet...

Yes, it is is true. Mark M. said he had some problem on the output. Anyway, I don't want to rebuild or clone completely the austin gold, but just get the secret of it sound. The prebass is, to my ears, a fine tone shaping device (from TS to bass heavy drive sounds). I would like to put it in some up...

I just modded my mxr distortion III according to analogguru and TubeDude22 (thanks a lot) advices. I think that the pedal is not groundbreaking but is a really good overdrive; only, after some months of use, I found it a little too dark sounding: the tone was always maxed but still lacking some high...

Hallo, I am a very ignorant and a very novice solderer. Bazz Fuss and Buzz Box are the only effects I build that worked (and after some tweaking they sounded both really good). I prefer the Buzz Box because it is more sensitive to the touch and the guitar volume. Anyway the Bazz Fuss is very good to...
